Award winning Indian actress Simran was born Rishibala Naval on April 4th, 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
She made her acting debut in the 1995 Hindi film, Sanam Harjai, and has gone on to appear in over seventy Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films.
She has won and been nominated for many awards, including winning the Tamil Nadu Government Award five times.
In 2003, she married Deepak Bagga, a commander for Kingfisher Airlines.
Simran gave birth to a son in 2005.
